Haver & Boecker is one of the world's leading manufacturers of wire cloth for industry and technology. As a medium-sized family business, we have played a decisive role in shaping the technology of wire weaving for more than 130 years.
We develop and use innovative manufacturing processes to fabricate wire cloth into filters and fabricated parts for filtration or cleaning, for the protection of people or sensitive electronics, or for the uniform flow of a gaseous, liquid, or solid medium.

With the production of filter media made of metal wire mesh (laminate) in smallest and largest dimensions, our focus is on efficient filtration processes. This also includes the solid-liquid separation or process gas filtration. In numerous applications the ideal combination of throughput, maximum resistance and highest precision is essential.
Metal wire mesh combines exactly these properties: It is significantly more robust and resistant than alternative filter media and enables the separation of even finest particles.
Corrosion resistance, suitability for welding and stability are further examples of concrete requirements for the development of filter elements that we have already been able to successfully meet with the use of metal wire mesh.
We fulfil individual product requirements with a wide range of proven products or with solutions that are newly developed for special applications. These also includes the conception of an optimal production and testing process.
HAVER POROSTAR® filter elements
Due to the largely freely configurable combination of extremely precise filter layers and very robust protective and support layers, the areas of application are virtually boundless. Also, thanks to
the wide range of metal alloys, temperature requirements of up to 1,100 °C do not present a problem.
